Choots Humphries, Co-President
Choots Humphries, co-founder of LinkConnector, has been involved in the computer industry for over 18 years, the last thirteen of which have been with the Internet as an entrepreneur founding and successfully operating two separate companies—LinkConnector Corporation and DotCom Corporation—with his business partner Ernie St. Gelais. LinkConnector is currently reshaping the Affiliate Marketing industry as one of the fastest growing Affiliate Marketing Networks. DotCom was a multi-million dollar company that operated several large Internet portals and was profitable every year until it was sold in 2005. Choots has been a featured speaker at several entrepreneurial, leadership and affiliate marketing events and is a recognized business leader and expert in online marketing. Previously, Choots received a commission in the U.S. Navy where he served as the navigator on two naval warships and managed worldwide staffing requirements for approximately 75,000 enlisted personnel. Choots holds a bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Information Systems from George Mason University.
Ernie St. Gelais, Co-President, Chief Technology Officer
Ernie St. Gelais, co-founder of LinkConnector, has many years of diversified experience in management, systems analysis, programming, and finance. Ernie has been LinkConnector's chief architect since its inception. He has more than thirteen years of experience running his own company which he acquired while starting and operating DotCom Corporation with his business partner, Choots Humphries. DotCom Corporation is a multi-million dollar company and has been profitable since its incorporation in 1999. Ernie has more than 20 years of technical expertise in database and systems development, and has been active as a corporate manager for the past 15 years. Ernie has been a featured speaker at several affiliate marketing industry events, most notably Affiliate Summit, and is a recognized expert in online tracking technologies. Prior to his incarnation as a webpreneur, Ernie worked in the Defense Industry and was an officer in the U. S. Air Force. He has a bachelor's degree from the United States Air Force Academy and a master's degree in Engineering Management from the Air Force Institute of Technology.
Tara McCommons, Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Tara McCommons joined the LinkConnector team just after the company's launch in 2004. Tara has over 18 years of sales and sales management experience throughout her career, working for both corporate and startup companies. As Director of Sales and Affiliate Relations, Tara and her team play a pivotal role in identifying new merchant and affiliate opportunities to continually expand the LinkConnector Network, while also taking a hands-on approach to optimize existing merchant and affiliate relationships.
Prior to joining LinkConnector, Tara excelled at generating new business in a variety of markets that encompassed the Mortgage industry, working for companies that included First Union Mortgage Corporation, to the Information Technology Services industry, working for Electronic Data Systems (EDS) in the Telecommunications Division. Tara also enjoyed a successful role with a cutting-edge technology company, InterLAN Technologies where she was recognized as a top sales producer specializing in the Sun hardware marketplace. Tara holds a bachelor of science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
Jennifer King, Director of Merchant Relations
Jennifer King brings over 10 years of management and customer service experience, from a variety of markets, to LinkConnector. Jennifer joined LinkConnector in 2006, two years after the company's inception. Prior to becoming the Merchant Relations team leader, Jennifer held the role as Senior Account Manager of the Merchant Relations team. During her time with LinkConnector, Jennifer has successfully managed and grown many of LinkConnector's Premier and Co-Managed merchant accounts, including Intuit, Getty Images, iStockphoto and Ritz Interactive. Prior to joining LinkConnector, Jennifer worked for Manpower Professional as their Major Accounts Coordinator. In this role she was responsible for working on various projects for companies such as Progress Energy, Lenovo, Tekelec, and Cisco. Jennifer holds a bachelor of science in Business Management from North Carolina State University.
Jackie Lane Bates, Director of Marketing
Jackie Bates has been part of the LinkConnector Team since its inception in 2004. Jackie leads the Marketing Department with a scope of responsibilities that includes managing the company's public relations and press efforts; planning and executing tradeshows; managing website content, design and optimization; and delivering internal and external communication campaigns. Prior to her current position, Jackie worked as the Web Marketing Director for DotCom Corporation. There, she led paid and organic search engine campaigns and content management projects, which contributed to an increase in DotCom's largest marketing partnership revenues by over 45%. Jackie holds a bachelor of arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Patty Cujas, Director of Accounting, Administration and Human Resources
Patty Cujas brings over 25 years of management and accounting experience, from a variety of markets, to LinkConnector. Prior to her current position, Patty worked as the Controller for DotCom Corporation where she was responsible for the accounting of a multi-million dollar company. Prior to joining the company, Patty worked as an Accounting Administrator where she gained experience in the not-for-profit sector. Previously, she worked in hospital and healthcare accounting in the for-profit sector and held positions as both a Controller and Accounting Manager with responsibility for all accounting functions. She also has extensive hotel accounting and general banking experience. Patty holds a bachelor of science degree in Business Administration from Averett University.
